^ My ex boyfriend did nothing but smoke up weed, drink all the time and gamble constantly. I would get mad at him and he then compared what he was doing to how I would cosplay and go to conventions. SO thank you to whoever made this post. G FUCKING POY.

[Everyone always tells me to grow up. they always say how i will eventually ‘grow out’ of anime and cons… but i say it is them who need to ‘grow out’ of drinkin and getting high all day long in order to feel just a little bit happy with their lives. Just today i told my best friend that i like someone and that someone likes anime.. and she told me ‘you need to be with someone who doesnt like anime so that you will grow out of it.’… then i calmly explained to her about how anime was my first friend. we moved alot when i was younger and i didnt make friends until 7th grade but before that anime was my one constant. its not something anyone can ‘grow out of’ in fact there are more animes for adults than there are for young children. watching anime is no different from watching a live action show. not all animes are goofy as hell. and not all live action shows are realistic. just because one happens to be drawn or made from a computer doesnt make it any less amazing. In fact, it makes it more amazing because that shit is ART. its BEAUTIFUL. Cosplay is just as beautiful too because people spend alot of time HAND MAKING these costumes that they can use again and again. that takes alot of dedication, hard work, and lets face it… talent. So fuck you if i find entertainment in something you dont necessarily agree with.]

I guess I will always be immature whoowhooowhoooo who else is immature with me on this (does have more fun crosplaying)
